Biography

Matt Bradshaw is a highly skilled project management professional with over a decade of experience delivering complex infrastructure projects. As Director of Sterling's Rail Consulting team, Matt leverages his technical expertise to help the team — and, in turn, our clients — navigate the intricate interface challenges associated with projects in and around rail. Specialising in managing interactions between stakeholders, authorities, rail operators, and technical disciplines, he has successfully delivered high-profile programs for organisations including the Suburban Rail Loop Authority, Parks Victoria, and the Level Crossing Removal Project. His expertise lies in managing complex interfaces, fostering collaboration, and aligning project outcomes with both operational and client objectives.

Matt has led critical projects and programs such as SRLA's Planning and Precincts Project Management Portfolio, Parks Victoria's state-wide Asset Regeneration Program, and LXRP's South Gippsland Highway Level Crossing Removal Project. His experience spans a range of contractual models and roles, providing him with a detailed understanding of project risk profiles from both contractual and technical perspectives. As Interface Manager across multiple Alliances, Matt has successfully overseen key interface activities, including the development and implementation of environmental remediation plans following extensive discussions with the EPA regarding a service station site, navigating complex land acquisitions and leases with multinational companies, and ensuring alignment between project objectives and stakeholder requirements. These efforts have led to the early and under-budget delivery of numerous projects.

Recognised for his innovative and collaborative approach, Matt has earned industry commendations such as MTIA's Development Award for implementing the LXRP's LeadSafe Program. With a Bachelor of Civil Engineering, a Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety, and PRINCE2 Certification, he continues to deliver tailored, forward-thinking solutions that optimise outcomes for our clients.
