Biography
Aydin joined Sterling Infrastructure in May 2024 and now leads the delivery management of site operations across key projects. With over a decade of experience operating machinery and managing his own civil business, Aydin brings both technical depth and practical leadership to his role.
He has spent the bulk of his career in large-scale earthworks and road maintenance, including VicRoads compliant road packages and complex local council upgrades. Known for his calm approach and clear communication, Aydin has quickly become a trusted leader on site - skilled at coordinating crews, engaging with stakeholders, and driving works to time and budget without compromising on safety or quality.
Since joining Sterling, Aydin has made an immediate impact. In July 2024, he successfully led the earthworks delivery for a level crossing renewal for Aurizon, exceeding program expectations and lifting productivity across the board.
Aydin holds a Certificate IV in Building and Construction, a Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure, and a broad range of plant operating tickets, including grader, water cart, haul truck and more. His ability to lead from the ground up - combining deep site knowledge with sharp delivery oversight - has made him a key asset across Sterling's ongoing growth and civil operations.
